Question 1:a) What are some of the earliest signs mentioned in the article to indicate that a person is addicted to gaming?
Skipping meals and lost sleep,
calling yourself by your avatar name,
a constant urge to have all the audio tracks from your favourite game,
talking about the game ALL the time,
beginning to imagine things.
b) State some of the methods listed by the author to overcome the addiction to gaming.The author got her mother to lock up the computer, and it took the author close to 3 months to break the habit.Socialise more.
Talking to friends in school about things that were not related to the game.
The author had an extremely helpful group of friends who constantly reminded her not to game.

I find that this kind of addiction had been very common to people nowadays.
Regardless of their age, most of them are also addicted to computer games.
But not too addicted to an extent that they tend to call themselves by their avatar name.
If a close friend of mine confesses to me that he/she is addicted to online games, I would advice him/her to stop talking about the online games.
